DESCRIPTION:Addictlab is inviting you to the @SDGSolutionspace in Geneva to make your own solar light. \n \nThe LEDsafari lamp is a low cost MIY (Make-it-yourself) solar lamp that uses a small solar panel (0.5 W) to convert energy from the sun\, store it in a battery and use it to power a LED bulb. \nIn two hours\, participants will learn and subsequently apply solar technology theories by assembling an electrical circuit using the LEDsafari kit and placing it in a personalised lamp body made of recycled material. \nBring your own recycled plastics (Nutella jar\, anyone?) or other container that you’d want to use for your light. DESCRIPTION:Addictlab wants to innovate education and experiment with future models and learning experiences. But we don’t want to come unprepared. Therefor\, we are collaborating with OSI\, Objectif Sciences International. First step of that collaboration is the Stage 1 training course in sciences education\, designed for all professionals experienced in teaching and sciences education\, as well as for novices. \nThe method developed and implemented by the NGO\, Objectif Sciences International is unique and has benefited from the experience in this field that they have gained over the years\, specifically: experience of implementing specific teaching and education methods during a real project\, as part of our scientific participatory research. \nThis training course will allow Addictlab researchers to optimize our methods in and knowledge about science education. DESCRIPTION:Free demonstration and use of the Creative Chemistry Cards. \nThe Creative Chemistry Table was created 20 years ago by Jan Van Mol when he founded Ad!dict Creative Lab. The aim : mixing creative disciplines\, to get inspiration from other fields and cultures\, and obtain more depth in the creation process. During the years\, Ad!dict Creative Lab – or addictlab – conducted numerous brainstorming sessions\, published over 35 books or magazines\, and set up ideation processes for companies and organisations going from the Thalys trains\, Lexus\, Diesel\, the chocolate and the design industry\, to governments\, cities and regions. \nToday\, the Creative Chemistry table consists of 140 disciplines or human ‘capabilities’\, 76 character cards\, the 17 sustainable development goals and more.
