SUMMARY:Create your own SOLAR LED light
DESCRIPTION:Addictlab is inviting you to the @SDGSolutionspace in Geneva to make your own solar light. \n \nThe LEDsafari lamp is a low cost MIY (Make-it-yourself) solar lamp that uses a small solar panel (0.5 W) to convert energy from the sun\, store it in a battery and use it to power a LED bulb. \nIn two hours\, participants will learn and subsequently apply solar technology theories by assembling an electrical circuit using the LEDsafari kit and placing it in a personalised lamp body made of recycled material. \nBring your own recycled plastics (Nutella jar\, anyone?) or other container that you’d want to use for your light.
